BANK is an independent neighborhood restaurant in Totterdown, Bristol, a 15-minute walk from Temple Meads. We cook over fire and keep things seasonal, simple and generous. Menus change with the fields and markets. We buy from Bristol suppliers, choosing the best of British produce and the right imports when they make a dish sing.

We currently offer 45 wines by the glass, including red, white, rosé, orange and sparkling. We also have 9 dessert wines/sherries/ports. We are aiming to offer a full spectrum of wine from established classics to lesser know new world gems. We source from some local based suppliers such as Spiegel & Peach, DBM and Wolf Wines as well as the esteemed Corney & Barrow.

Balla Geza Fetasca Neagra

An indigenous grape grown in Romania, it loosely translates to “Black Maiden” due to its inky, deep colour. Black cherry, blueberry, cacao and a hint of smoke.

Iria Otero Sal de Albariño

A unique take on the popular Albariño style. Bags of stone fruit and citrus with a smooth creamy texture and a long finish due to 6 months on lees. Iria Otero Mazoy stands as a distinguished authority on the wines of northwest Spain. Her extensive knowledge and experience in winemaking are vividly reflected through her vibrant interpretations of Albariño.

I am mostly self-taught, through love of wine and exploring new regions and varietals. I have worked in restaurants/bars for 12 years, with a big focus on cocktails at the start, and I have really gone down the wine rabbit hole in the last 4 years.
