We are a small but passionate team who pride ourselves on taking fun seriously. We serve small plates in our restaurant, with Will in the kitchen creating delicious dishes to enjoy in our relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Out front, relax and let the team, headed up by Oliver, Ted and Neve, look after you with our carefully crafted wine list, seasonal cocktails and local beers.

Norman's has always prided itself on encouraging people out of their comfort zones with wine, allowing customers to try bottles they may never have heard of and, hopefully, leaving with a new favourite. We have always striven to offer every wine by the glass and, in doing so, put the fun back into wine.

Saperavi Classsical, Vachnadziani

Saperavi Classical is named for its grape variety, cultivated in Kakheti, eastern Georgia. Inviting, open aromas lead to an easy, quaffable red with smoky, ripe flavours of plum and earth.

Grace Koshu, Grace

Fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks, the wine is made from Koshu grapes grown at an altitude of over 400m in the hilly regions of Katsunuma. In the vineyards, to reduce the effects of autumn rain, each bunch is covered with an umbrella and picked at optimal maturity.

Grüner Veltliner, Rabl

A spicy opening with notes of yellow apple, wood apple and soft honeydew melon leads to a well-defined body and a savoury, peppery finish.

Located in the prestigious Kamptal-Donau wine region of Austria, Weingut Rabl enjoys a vine-growing tradition dating back to 1750. The estate comprises 100 hectares of the finest hillside vineyards in and around Langenlois.

Oliver Roberts

Oliver Roberts has worked in hospitality since he was 13. After starting as a kitchen porter, he went on to become Front of House Manager at Shibden Mill Inn. After attaining his WSET Level 2 qualification, he opened his own venture, Norman's. Since graduating to Level 3, Oliver’s passion and knowledge of wine inspire the whole team.
