The Good Life is a premier bottle shop and tasting room located on the Central Coast in the heart of America’s Little Denmark, Solvang California. The Good Life offers an impressive selection of local boutique wines, Independent California craft beer, ciders and mead you won't find anywhere else.

Our wines are local (Santa Barbara to Paso Robles), small production (less than 1000 cases produced annually) from producers who do not have their own tasting rooms and/or are private estate wines. We represent between 30 - 40 unique producers at any given time and offer 99% by the glass

Cotiere 2024 Santa Rita Hills Blanc de Noir

This vintage is a blend of three vineyards in the Santa Rita Hills. This unique white wine is made entirely from Pinot Noir with minimal skin contact and native fermentation in stainless steel barrels. Only 25 cases were produced

Mail Road 2020 Mt. Carmel Vineyard Pinot Noir

100% Pinot Noir, a blend of 4 unique Pinot clones from the Mt. Carmel Vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills. 5% whole cluster, 12 months in 1 and 2 year old French oak barrels

Boutz Cellars 2020 Petite Sirah

Coming from the organically farmed Boutz estate in the Adelaida district of Paso Robles. 100% Petite Sirah aged in neutral oak. Only 75 cases produced

We are a husband & wife team with over 60 years combined experience in the food, beverage and hospitality industry. We have been coming to the Santa Ynez Valley since 2006 and moved here in 2012. We hand select every wine in our shop, working directly with our winemakers and vineyard owners walking the vineyards and taste grape to bottle.
