The Pierre Paillard Les Terres Roses is absolutely delicious. It combines the characteristic ripeness and power of Pinot Noir from Bouzy with the elegance and finesse of chalky Chardonnay. 100% of the fruit is grown by the Paillards in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy. The rose is made with a still Bouzy Pinot Noir, which is a real rarity.

Jacquère is mostly known as a novelty wine, but Domaine de Chevillard is showing what this obscure varietal is capable of when it is farmed carefully and for quality. Chevillard's Jacquère is delightfully bright and refreshing. It is aromatic, floral, and expresses a wide spectrum of fruit flavors from citrus to tropical.

The La Cerisaie is full-bodied and textural but still precise and vibrant. It shows ripe, bruised fruit flavors but also has honeyed florality and salinity. It is dry but not bone-dry. It's a complete wine.
