Nestled in the heart of Teddington, Shambles is an independently run restaurant and wine bar led by siblings Margherita and Massimo, who have a Michelin-star background and a passion for food and drink. We have a relaxed atmosphere in the style of a local Italian osteria, where guests can discover rustic charm, innovative food and 40 wines by the glass.

Shambles has a relaxed atmosphere in the style of a local Italian Osteria, where guests can discover rustic charm, innovative food and 40 wines by the glass. The extensive 100+ strong wine list includes a selection natural, orange, vegan, organic, biodynamic and traditional wines, all carefully selected from sustainable practicing producers.

Shambles loves to serve you wines that you’ll love, mostly from boutique Italian vineyards, with the odd bottle from around the world and from ‘on our doorstep’ here in England. Enjoy a chat with friends in the lively bar, al fresco in the sunny garden or dine amongst Italians in the cosy restaurant.

Manincor 'Reserve della Contessa'

a biodynamically farmed white wine from the Alto Adige region of Italy, specifically Terlano. It is a blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, known for its complex aromas of apple, pear, and citrus, with a lively palate of fruit, acidity, and mineral notes.

Fosso Cancelli CERASUOLO D’ABRUZZO DOP

Features a bright and lively rosé color, reminiscent of cherry blossom petals. This wine boasts an intensely fruity aroma profile, with notes of cherry, strawberry, and a slight hint of pomegranate.

Nino Negri, 5 Stelle Sfursat, Valtellina, Lombardy, Italy

Produced by the same method that results in Amarone but infusing it with the finesse of the Nebbiolo grape.

Expect smoked wood and dried mushrooms together with those of spice and raspberries. The mouthfeel is full, rich and defined, velvety and intact tannins, excellent acidity and elegant body. Finish is very long and subtle.
