Marlowe is a produce-led restaurant and bar in central Christchurch, pairing modern New Zealand cooking with a European sensibility. Around the island bar and open kitchen, the mood is warm, generous and relaxed, a place for a quick glass, a long lunch or dinner shared with friends.

Our wine list brings together more than 90 bottles, with a strong New Zealand heart and favourites from Europe and beyond. We pour over 25 wines by the glass, chosen to complement the food and invite a little discovery. Curated with care, the selection also includes two wines on tap.

Katie Woodhead is an award recognised New Zealand sommelier and wine educator, named among the Top 100 Sommeliers in Aotearoa and the Top 5 Female Sommeliers in 2025. She founded WINEHEADS to make wine approachable and help hospitality teams grow their confidence. Katie helped shape Marlowe’s wine list, bringing a thoughtful, welcoming approach to sharing wine with guests.
