Humble is an intimate 14 seater restaurant, with a fine menu inspired by the Middle East and designed by Stacey Conner. Jade is your Sommelier, an Adelaide girl with a deep love for Chardonnay and a love affair with white burgundy. The wine list at Humble has an Australian & Chardonnay focus with tiny love letters to Tassie & Victoria, and one-off international wines.

I pour things like Meursault by the glass, a wine that is usually north of $750 a bottle here in Australia, it allows a guest to choose one good wine and enjoy it. I can also charge reasonable prices as there is no wastage with the coravin.

Fabien Coche 'Le Limozin' Meursault

Okay from total memory as it's been months since I've drunk this wine. a mesmerising balance of fruit & texture, the acid in this wine controls how 3 dimensional it is. There's layer after layer and this real power and precision like most of the Fabien wines. I notice it might need a good 5-8 minutes in the glass before it shines.

Senior Sommelier - Jade Tareha, lived and worked in Adelaide before moving to Dubai then the Sunshine Coast, studied hospitality at the age of 19 and continued to work in the industry.
