Happy Wine Calle Ocho is a lively, unpretentious Little Havana wine bar with over 1,000 wines, Spanish tapas, Josper-grilled meats, graffiti-covered walls, and live music six nights a week. Run by JC and Joanna Restrepo, it’s been recognized by The New York Times and Miami New Times.

We pour 14 wines by the glass: five whites, a rosé, an orange wine, six reds, and Taittinger Brut La Française Champagne, plus five vermouths from Spain, Greece, and Argentina. What sets us apart is “Champagne Afternoons,” Miami’s only Champagne hour, where Taittinger BTG starts at $5 and rises $1 each hour, Tuesday to Thursday. Every bottle on our shop walls can also be enjoyed in the restaurant.

JC Restrepo is co-owner of Happy Wine Calle Ocho with his wife, Joanna. A former sommelier at top New York restaurants, he brought his expertise to Miami, growing a small neighborhood wine shop into a NYT-recognized institution with a strong focus on Spanish and South American wines and an approachable, welcoming style.
