We have been living the culture of large open wine serving for 35 years. IL Calice was opened as the first enoteca/wine bar in Berlin and remains the go-to place when it comes to Italian wine in Berlin or perhaps even Germany. We are a family-run restaurant specializing in the direct import of wines from both large and small wineries.

The wine list includes at least 700 different wines, of which about 600 are from all over Italy, around 80 from Germany, and about 20 Champagnes. On tap, we always rotate the entire range, offering an average of 15-18 wines by the glass plus port wine. We always pay attention to region, price range, and style to provide the most exciting selection possible for our guests.

This is the Sauvignon Blanc from our own production in Friuli. Antonio has been producing his own for over 20 years there, which for us are always naturally ripe and fresh home highlights!

The team around us, Louis & Antonio, offers guests the opportunity to choose from a very personalized selection of wines. To maximize the enjoyment of drinking and the visibility of the wines, we always serve the wines at the table. This way, the guest sees the bottle and the label. If you two have the same wine by the glass, we are happy to leave the bottle at the table and charge based on consumption.
