Comptoir Cafe & Wine

Rating 1

ONE GLASS RATING: Over 20 wines by-the-glass

Experience: Relaxed & Social

Specialist in: Burgundy | Champagne | Italy

Comptoir Café & Wine blends relaxed daytime dining with a serious evening wine offering. By day, it’s a café serving top-quality coffee and brunch. By night, it transforms into a wine bar and restaurant with small plates, cheese and charcuterie, and a wine list of over 500 bottles. Founded by Master Sommelier Xavier Rousset, it also houses a wine shop downstairs.

Comptoir Café & Wine features a constantly evolving list with over 30 wines by the glass. Using Coravin, we’re able to offer fine and premium bottles typically reserved for full pours, giving guests the chance to explore regions and producers without committing to a whole bottle.

GLASS HIGHLIGHTS

Subject to availability*

2022 Viognier, Le Pied de Samson, Domaine Georges Vernay, France

A fresh, expressive Viognier from one of the Rhône’s finest producers. Grown organically on high-altitude granite slopes just outside Condrieu, this wine shows ripe stone fruit, floral lift, and a clean, silky texture. Usually found in top restaurants or cellars, so it’s a treat to have it available by the glass

2016 Barolo, Castiglione, Vietti, Piedmonte, Italy

Vietti is one of Piedmont’s top producers, known for combining tradition with modern winemaking and a strong respect for the land. This Barolo blends fruit from great sites across the region, showing dark cherry, dried rose, and spice. 2016 is a standout vintag, and it’s rare to find a wine like this by the glass.

2022 Langhe Nebbiolo, Sottimano, Piedmonte, Italy

Made from Nebbiolo grown in the Basarin cru, this is the only wine Sottimano released from the hot 2022 vintage—making it a standout. It’s full of character, with notes of dried rose, strawberry, blood orange, and crushed mint. Fine tannins and bright acidity keep it fresh and balanced. A rare chance to taste a wine this detailed and expressive by the glass
