Bottarga by Da Biuso is an Italian restaurant, family owned by Sarah, Biagio and son Joseph located in Maroochydore on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Chefs Biagio and Joseph are passionate about creating memories and moments with their fine, handcrafted cuisine and Sarah our Sommelier runs the front of house service and fine wine program. Come and experience a carefully created dining experience.

Our sommelier Sarah is extremely passionate about not only providing a great selection of wines, but most importantly the storing and preservation of these wines, to ensure customer satisfaction and enjoyment. We serve 40 wines by the glass, which gives our customers such a wonderful selection to choose from. We pour French champagne by the glass, top Australian wines and of course, Italian Barolo

The Planeta Chrdonnay is an inconic world class white wine from Menfi in Sicily, highly revered by those in the know and loved by newcomers as well. Rich golden colour, peach, honey, citrus, with a hint of minerality from its vicinity to Mt Etna, the active volcano, fremented and aged in Rrench oak.A hint of almond and vanilla and a soft rounded finish, elegance in a glass.

Antinori Montenisa Royale Franciacorta DOCG Lombardy IT

A premium Italian sparkling wine from the Lombardy region, made in the traditional Champagne method made primarily from Chardonny, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc grapes. Its aged on its lees for around 36 months, resulting in fine bubbles, a pale yellow colour, with a complex aromas of white peach, bread crust and yeast, with a crisp lively palate. Great as an aperitif and with light appetisers

Zenato Recioto Della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2017 Veneto, IT

A sweet, rich Italian dessert wine from the Veneto region made from partially Corvina dried grapes, the passito method, which are fremented to leave residual sugar. It has intense flavours of black cherries, plum, spice, with a velvety texture and notes of dried raisins. Its a perfect pairing for chocolate and other rich desserts and also works well with hard cheeeses.

My passion for wine has continued to evolve over the past 30 years owning and operating restaurants in Australia with my Sicilian born husband and now our son. They are both incredibly talented and passionate chefs who serve innovative and delicious dishes and I am equally passionate about providing our guests an incredible list of wines, particularly by the glass as the perect compliment.
