Bay Hong Food + Wine is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant in located in the heart of Darlinghurst in Sydney, Australia. Established in 2007, the dishes focuses on shared, banquet style dining that focuses on regional dishes from the Middle to Southern Vietnam where the wine list blends benchmark International classics with emerging Australian Producers and alternative varietals.

Our Wine list features just under 100 wines with around 20 available by-the-glass, designed around freshness, texture and food friendliness. From Canberra Riesling to Meursaultm The Coravin systems allows us to give guests access to diverse options for pairing and wine exploration to match the vibrant flavours of Vietnamese Cuisine.

Fiano has gained a traction within the Australian market. It is a thicker skin varietal that adapts well to Australia's hot climate so it requires less water, as well as a textural, food friendly wine that works well with the food at Bay Hong

2024 Helm Half Dry Riesling

a wine with a touch of residual sugar, this wine, matched with the cool climate exposure of Canberra, the combination of slight sweetness and high acid of this wine is a favourite pairing of mine with our dumplings and our spicy curries

Adrian Basoeki

What started as WSET Level 2 in 2017 quickly became a passion. I completed WSET Level 3 before earning Certified Sommelier status with the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2019. My experience spans exposure to a 1,500-bin wine list while building Bay Hong's wine program around discovery, pairing and accessibility.
