What is the Coravin By-the-Glass Guide?
Your go-to guide for the best wine-by-the-glass experiences, launching in five exciting cities: London, Sydney, Melbourne, Milan, and San Francisco.
From Michelin-starred restaurants to hidden-gem wine bars, we feature venues that shine in quality, variety, and service – all independently rated.
Each earns One, Two, or Three Glasses, reflecting the breadth and excellence of their list, so you can sip with confidence and discover exceptional wines wherever you are.
We also recognise select small but extraordinary programs with our Greg’s Hidden Gem award – highlighting unique, standout experiences you won’t want to miss.
How do I use the Guide?
Search by city or your favourite wine style to find venues that match your taste and occasion. Each listing includes our Glass Rating, the venue’s specialties, by-the-glass wine list, and details about the people behind the pours.
What do the Glass Ratings mean?
- One Glass Venue – 20–40 excellent wines by the glass
- Two Glass Venue – 41–60 outstanding wines by the glass
- Three Glass Venue – Over 60 exceptional wines by the glass
- Greg’s Hidden Gem – Founder of Coravin, Greg Lambrecht’s personal favourites offering unique and memorable by-the-glass experiences.
Which cities and regions are featured?
At launch, the Guide includes: London, Sydney, Melbourne, The Netherlands, and California, with more regions being added soon.
Can I book a table through the Guide?
Not directly. Each venue listing links to their own website so you can book with them.
For Venues
Do I need to use a Coravin system to be listed?
No. The Guide is open to all qualifying venues, whether or not you currently use Coravin.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- Minimum of 20 wines by the glass (exceptions possible for Greg’s Hidden Gem awardees).
- Each venue should have a sommelier or wine specialist (or team) responsible for curating and managing the wine program.
- Located in one of our launch cities or future expansion regions.
How do I get listed?
Submit your venue via our List Your Venue form.

How long does approval take?
Most venues are reviewed, approved, and published within 2 business days of completing their profile.
Is there a cost to be listed?
No. Participation in the Guide is free.
