Acquerello is a fine dining restaurant serving contemporary Italian cuisine. Our 2400 wine selections focus on Italy, Champagne, and California. We currently hold 2 Michelin stars and Wine Spectator's Grand Award.

We offer a different wine by the glass for every dish on the menu, so at any given time, we have over 40 wines open and available by the glass. We often collaborate with winemakers from California and Italy to offer wines that are exclusively available at Acquerello.

While we change our wines by the glass often, this one is regularly available. We love the way it balances fruit and minerality with a dry refreshing finish.

Failla, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 'Acquerello' 2018

We collaborated with Failla to make this Pinot Noir from two vineyards on the Sonoma Coast. It combines California fruit with the restraint and elegance normally associated with Old World wines.

Gianpaolo Paterlini

Gianpaolo Paterlini took control of the wine program at Acquerello in 2008. At age 26, he became the youngest wine director ever to earn Wine Spectator's Grand Award in 2012. In addition to building verticals of many of the world's most sought-after wines, Acquerello became one of the first wine lists in the world to organize Barolo geographically and to list disgorgement dates in Champagne.
