Tucked away beneath the arches of Charing Cross, Champagne Charlies is a popular local institution for wining, dining and entertaining. The wood panelling, exposed brick, intimate alcoves and candlelit tables make for a cosy atmosphere, whilst our friendly team ensure exceptional service for all. Enjoy classic British food, all made with seasonal ingredients sourced from our trusted suppliers.

With around 25 wines by the glass, our list celebrates both familiar favourites and rare finds. We use Coravin to offer premium bottles usually only sold by the bottle, making great wine more accessible in our characterful wine bars across London.

Gran Reserva by the glass is rare — the ageing requirements mean limited availability and usually higher pricing. This one offers a polished, long-aged Rioja experience (smooth tannins, spice, depth) that feels premium and difficult to replicate at this price

Bojador Tinto

A boutique Portuguese red from Alentejo made by a producer focused on traditional methods and small batches. Its vibrance and authenticity showcases indigenous Portuguese grapes that guests don’t often find on by-the-glass menus — making it both unique and highly memorable.
