Tino is a European daytime bistrot in Brisbane, made for long breakfasts and lunches that drift into the afternoon. The wine list is short, seasonal and built from scratch: Italian and French at heart, with a few Greek, Spanish and Australian growers we love. Relaxed enough for a quick weekday glass, serious enough to settle in over a Barbaresco or a grower Champagne.

All 27 wines on our list are poured by the glass, so guests can explore freely, from Produttori del Barbaresco, Sandrone Dolcetto and Pietradolce Etna Rosso to Benjamin Leroux Bourgogne Blanc and grower Champagne from Margaine. Italy leads, from Vermentino and Fiano to Vin Santo and Passito di Pantelleria, with a full sweet section by the glass.

Produttori del Barbaresco, Barbaresco 2021

Produttori del Barbaresco brings together around 50 growers, It is the backbone of the appellation and one of Piedmont's most trusted names. 2021 was a great year, with roses, red cherry and a hint of tar, held together by fine tannins. A good chance to taste Barbaresco at its best by the glass.

Benjamin Leroux, Bourgogne Blanc 2023

Benjamin Leroux, now one of Burgundy's most respected names, makes this with the same care as his top crus. Bright citrus and white orchard fruit, a touch of hazelnut and a fine, chalky finish. Classic white Burgundy without the premier cru price tag.

Foreign Friends, Gamay 2025

A personal favourite. Juliette, one third of Beechworth trio Foreign Friends, is a good friend, and I love backing new-wave producers making wine this good.

Gianpaolo Floris

Gianpaolo's wine journey began in London, inspired by its wine culture and skilled sommeliers. Fifteen years on, he's gone from Michelin starred London restaurants to great Australian venues and is now Head Sommelier at Mosconi where he also oversees sister venue Tino. Nearing his WSET Diploma, he builds lists that balance benchmarks with lesser known producers, meeting every guest where they are.
