ONE GLASS RATING: Over 20 wines by-the-glass

Experience: Relaxed & Social

Specialist in: California | Cool climate | Low intervention

lelé kitchen in Los Gatos is a chef-driven, upscale-casual restaurant where Eastern European flavors meet California farm-to-table. Chef Ulad Skoblia curates a hyper-seasonal menu that celebrates bold Slavic traditions through Northern California produce. Nestled near the scenic Santa Cruz Mountains, the restaurant pairs warm hospitality with refined beverages for an intimate, memorable night out.

The beverage program is led by Advanced Sommelier (CMS-A) Fedar Kamkou and celebrates California-made beverages, from sake to modern aperitifs. The list offers over 20 wines by the glass, including Coravin pours from rare allocations and a small cellar of library bottles. Selections spotlight historic vineyards and the state’s diverse terroirs, thoughtfully matched to our hyper-seasonal menu.

GLASS HIGHLIGHTS

Subject to availability*

2021 marsanne / roussanne, VILLEIN, alder springs vineyard, mendocino

This 5-barrel Marsanne/Roussanne from Alder Springs Vineyard, Mendocino, shows the site’s cool, high-elevation terroir. Marsanne adds depth and weight, Roussanne brings lift and aromatics. Layered, expressive, and restrained, it’s produced in tiny quantities, making it rare and a striking example of Rhône whites thriving in California.

2021 negrette, DeROSE, cienega valley, san benito 81 [OV]

This rare Négrette from DeRose Vineyards in Cienega Valley, San Benito, shows the grape’s savory, floral character with balance and depth. Produced in tiny quantities from a single historic site, it’s a unique, hard-to-find California expression of this uncommon Southwest France variety.

solera, angelica, GLUNZ, paso robles

GLUNZ Family Angelica is a rare, historic Mission grape wine aged in a traditional solera, with an average age of 25–30 years. Layered with toasted hazelnut, caramel, and bright acidity, it’s lush yet refined. Produced in tiny quantities, this port-style wine honors California’s 18th-century Mission grape heritage and is truly hard to find

Fedar Kamkou

Advanced Sommelier (CMS-A) Fedar moved from Belarus to the Bay Area in 2013, beginning his restaurant career bussing tables. Now firmly rooted in California, he believes the state’s wines can satisfy any palate and champions an all-California beverage program at lelé kitchen. Having completed numerous wine courses and credentials, his goal is to become a Master Sommelier one day—obviously.
